About Us

The purpose of the Institute:

a) to create mutual cooperation between medical branches and the branches of traditional, complementary and integrative medicine (TCIM)

b) to create conditions strengthening the position of traditional, complementary and integrative medicine (TCIM)to the public benefit both on the national and international level, 

c) to develop better knowledgeability of the professional and wide public in the area of TCIM therapies and holistic treatment with the aim to contribute to the improvement of our quality of life, the decline in diseases, more profound enlightenment

d) to establish a platform to the patients’ benefit and their free holistic approach to health

e) to develop cooperation among particular TCIM branches and therapies, cooperation with national and international authorities and institutions in the area of non-medical therapies


Activities of the Institute include:

a) the organization and support of professional congresses, conferences, projects, expert debates and presentations

b) research, educational and publication activity and enlightenment in the area of traditional, complementary and integrative medicine (TCIM)

c) implementation and support of rudimentary and applied research, execution of specialized evaluations and studies

d) the establishment of a platform for a discussion and ideas, experience and information sharing

e) support of the activities of the PLATFORM 2020 PRAGUE and involvement in them.
